Prashant Verma is an actor, singer, songwriter, visual artist and fashion designer - a multidisciplinary artist whose body of work is an amalgamation of the visual and performing arts. His multimedia expressions, often biographical, have been an organic exploratory journey across time and cities. Having trained in fashion across London, New Delhi, Paris and then as an actor and singer in New York and Mumbai, all along continuing his practice in art and design, it is safe to say that all these explorations pass on a meaning and immediacy into his practices regardless of their origin. 

Prashant was trained at the fashion houses of Alexander McQueen, Philip Treacy and John Galliano. A graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology(NIFT), New Delhi, he set up his eponymous label in 2006, and has been presenting his collections at the FDCI x Lakme  India Fashion Week ever since. His shows have been counted as among The Top Ten Shows at Fashion Week (Hindustan Times, Nov 6,2009). In 2010, he was noted as amongst The Best New Designers in Indian Fashion (GRAZIA India, August 2010) and amongst The Top 25 Eminent Men of India (FEMINA, June 2010). He has been featured amongst The 60 Eminent New Indians (India Today, Oct 2007), Most Significant Debuts of 2008(Times of India, Dec 31, 2007), Best New Designer (FDCI SS2008), along with the ELLE India Style Awards consecutively for 2008 and 2009. His work has been extensively featured in Federico Roca’s book on “Contemporary Indian Fashion” (Damiani Publications, Milan 2009), and most recently in Martina Rink’s tribute book, “Isabella Blow” (Thames & Hudson, London 2010). In 2011, his collections were presented at the "Alchemy Festival", London as part of the British Council Worldwide Initiative. In 2011, his work was also featured in the "INDIA TODAY"Art & Design Exhibition at the ARKEN Museum of Modern Art in Denmark. He continues to show at the India Fashion Week in New Delhi. 

Prashant's first Book 'SING, DESTINY.' was published and released in April 2023. 

April 2023 also marked the beginning of Prashant's musical journey as an Independent Artist with the release of his first single, 'Dance Like Love' . Since then Prashant has released music videos and four more singles from a larger body of work that is set to be released in 2024.
